Tonight during the live 1 vs 100 game on xbox live I managed to get into second place but lost it all on the last question. You can be sure I'll remember what Daschund means from now on!
I suggest that you check out this game, it's free for gold subscribers. Totally worth the subscription price if you ask me. Live shows are Tuesdays at 9 EST and Fridays at 10 EST. Both are 2 hours long, and if that's not enough they have extended play every night through the week.
Steam Holiday Sale
Every year I end up buying myself a little something for Christmas. Maybe it’s something that’s not on my list (like a CD or comic) and maybe it’s one of those one day deals that I just can’t pass up (like my 30GB Zune). This year was different though. My company was bought out by another company and our paychecks were on a different bi-weekly schedule. From an accounting and tax point of view December is a great time to fix this little snafu. Not a great time if you’re living paycheck to paycheck like me though. Lucky for me though, the Steam Holiday Sale is hear to bail me out with fun games and easy on the wallet prices!
The problem with the sale, well not a problem with Steam, is that there are so many cheap little games they’re instantly justifiable. Oh sure, I’ll pick Lumines up for $3 since it’s on sale and looks fun. Also nostalgia kicked in when I bought the Commander Keen complete package. Then there was the purchase that didn’t really even make sense to me at the time. Battlefield 2 for $8, I’ll get it for when I have a computer that can run games. Yeah, I’m even picking up games for the future!
It’s a lot of fun though and because they announce the daily sales at noon EST, I have a reason to be excited and get back to the office after lunch. When was the last time that happened? I really enjoyed the Steam Holiday sale but for me it’s pretty much over. There’s really only one game I’m thinking of picking up but I doubt it’ll be on a daily sale and even though it’s at a discounted 30 something percent off I don’t know if I’ll get it. I’m still playing Modern Warfare 2 and I just got Left 4 Dead 2 for Christmas.
Shipping up to Boston
Hello faithful readers, I'm sorry that things just, well, stopped there at the end of October. It was expected if you read my first post but I really tried there and I will get around to watching the final six movies and posting a review for each one.
As a punishment I'm considering making the last six films a special "Ziggy's nightmare punishment" and be open to all request. That's ALL request which means you don't even have to request something within the horror genre. Want to make me watch Dumb & Dumberer? How about White Chicks? I will embarrassingly decline any terrible movies that I've already watched (like Anger Management). If I get more than six requests we'll put it up for a vote. All of the reviews will be completed by the end of this year.
In the next few weeks look for my review of the Megabus as I'm going to be taking one to and from Boston this weekend. Also there will be some comic book reviews and a review of the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 game, which I just completed.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 cover art released
A reliable source sent me the cover art for the new Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare 2. If you've already watched the very short teaser trailer to the game, this cover art should come as no surprise. I think they're going after a completely different demographic this time around, as I thought the original COD4 Modern Warfare appealed to the adult gamer. Its obvious this time they're going after a younger crowd.
