Payday @ the comic shop
Hey all,
Just wanted to give a quick update before posting my next big review. I got paid today *Finally!* and headed down to my LCS just to scope it out. I may hate the owner but the guy that works there during lunch breaks is pretty nice. I scoped out where they keep their copies of The Living Corpse, Walking Dead and Fist of Justice as well as where some of the more popular comics are.
For those of you that know me, I can't walk into a store filled with things I like and not buy something so I grabbed up the first trade of both DMZ and Fables. I've heard nothing but good things from Fables. DMZ on the other hand seems to be a love it or hate it type book. Here's hoping I'm on the love it side but if it turns out that it's not for me there's always next years 'crap comics trade-a-thon' at the Super Show!
